Technician for Cryostat Assembly

The job consists of assembling, testing and finalising cryostat system components with high quality standards.
Main responsibilities are:
  • Mechanical assembly of cryostat systems
  • Making electrical and water connections
  • Assembling support frames from aluminium profiles
  • Vacuum testing components and pumps
  • Cool-down testing of cryostat systems

Qualities and skills:
  • Mechanical Engineering education or equivalent technical background
  • Strong experience in mechanical assembly and testing
  • Knowledge in reading and understanding technical drawings and documents
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high quality
  • Hands-on attitude and passion for technology

Also appreciated:
  • Work experience in a scientific assembly environment

Cryo Engineer

The job consists of assembly, testing, reporting and commissioning BlueFors systems with high quality standards. The job requires flexibility with working hours and frequent international travel for installations on-site at the customer premises.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Factory acceptance testing and on-site installation

Required qualities and skills:
  • MSc degree in applied/technical physics

Site Planning Engineer

You will be working in our Technical Support team in close customer interaction. Your main focus is to ensure that our system integrates flawlessly to the customer’s facility. This includes making sure that our system – including cryostat, pumps, compressor and frame - are correctly located and have properly rated water and electricity lines, cabling etc. in the site plans. You are able to recommend suitable options for power specifications, plugs and breakers and other details for integration.

Main responsibilities are:
  • Preparing the site plans and revisions with accuracy and within agreed schedules, while providing excellent customer service
  • Updating layout related items in our ERP system (Roima LEAN)

Qualities and skills:
  • Electrical engineering degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge in regulations and technical standards regarding electricity and buildings
  • Proficiency in 3D layout design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Creo)
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Mind set for customer satisfaction and results
  • Problem solving attitude and strong interaction skills
  • Experience in ERP systems is an advantage

Executive Assistant

You will be a part of our Bluefors Office Operations team with main responsibility of assisting our Executive Team (four people) by providing support in various tasks to ensure smooth workflow. We need a person who is always one step ahead and ready to take action, with the ability to handle tasks with strict level of confidentiality.

Main responsibilities are:
  • Calendar and contacts management
  • Meeting and travel arrangements, event organising
  • Administrative tasks e.g. document management, agendas and memos
  • Gathering information for decision making
  • Assisting with management communication and materials (e.g. emails, presentations)
  • Supervising and developing reception & assistant services
  • Supporting in development projects
  • Interacting with different stakeholders (external and internal)

  • Degree from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, programme for Management Assistants (tradenomi HSO) or equivalent background
